Formed in spring of 2000, Optional Design Group [ODG] is a three-man team; a sensible project manager, a logical code guru, and a stylish art director.

We have worked together for the past four years to produce over 50 high quality custom websites, more than a dozen interactive CD-ROMs, and various print marketing materials.

Although based in San Diego county, California, [ODG] has long-term client relationships with businesses in Seattle, Washington D.C., Maine and as far away as the United Kingdom. The key to serving these clients “as if we were next door” is phenomenal project management and communication.

The award-winning [ODG] team's specialty and passion is using Flash animation to make hybrid websites that look good but also have a backend content system that is easily managed by the client.

We work mainly with small to medium-sized businesses and like to work closely with our clients to make sure they are fully satisfied, yet we are comfortable with meeting the needs of larger organizations as well. In June 2004, the flash open house tour we produced for Preston - Gates - Ellis won an award. InternetMarketingAttorney.com issues a "NiftyFifty" list each year for the top 50 websites in the legal industry. Our virtual tour was ranked 8th place.

In their Jan/Feb 2004 issue, the national publication Law Office Computing featured an article about the flash open house tour we produced for Preston - Gates - Ellis. The reviewer called our work "the snappiest piece of e-marketing to cross the Ethernet this year." View a PDF of the article.

In late 2003, Optional Design Group received a Seeker Business Web Award by the Canadian information portal Toronto Seeker. The Seeker Business Web Awards is a leader in recognizing and rewarding those business websites which meet or exceed expectations in various categories.

CreativeMoonlighter (now Guru.com) recognized Optional Design Group as a member of its Featured Talent developers group for January 2003. This award is based upon the quality of work we've delivered to their clients, as well as, the high level of professional service we've provided.
